The Aging Institute of Michigan is aware of your privacy concerns and strives to collect only as much data as is necessary to fulfill the project needs of the Traverse City: Aging in Community Initiative currently underway in Traverse City, Michigan.Personal Information
Information collected through the Traverse Livable Communities Survey web site, including e-mail addresses, will not be distributed to anyone outside of this site. The Aging Institute of Michigan does not sell, rent, loan or otherwise publicly distribute addresses, e-mail addresses or phone numbers. Any information you provide us will be held in the strictest confidence. In addition, we do not collect personally identifiable information about you except when you voluntarily provide it. We will make every effort to ensure all information is maintained in a protected environment and all survey information will be removed from web site on September 1, 2006. We reserve the right to contact you only if you are a prize winner.
Survey Information
The results of the survey are intended to support the Traverse City: Aging in Community Initiative for the purposes of identifying current gaps in community services, targeting emerging community needs, and to assist in long range community planning. We reserve the right to perform statistical analysis of all data and measure the time it took to complete each survey.
Survey Data
Data will only be shared in aggregate formats, without any personal identifying information, to support community-wide projects or programs that support the needs of older adults, families, and caregivers in our area.
General Privacy Practices
The Traverse Livable Communities website (http://www.tlcsurvey.org) has been designed to make the community survey process both efficient and satisfying, while also allowing for the broadest level of community participation possible in the shortest amount of time.
